before choosing Canada.
Honest answers — no marketing fluff — from counsellors who have sent students to Canada for 15+ years.
IT, healthcare (especially nursing), engineering, accounting, and business management have high NOC codes making PR easier. Eduspray advisors map your profile to the right NOC before course selection — this is critical.
PGWP is a Post-Graduation Work Permit for graduates of full-time programmes (8+ months) at DLI-designated institutions. The permit length matches your study duration, up to a maximum of 3 years.
Yes for most. IELTS 6.0 is the standard minimum; top schools like UofT and UBC require 6.5–7.0. Some institutions also accept TOEFL, PTE or Duolingo.
Living costs range from ₹6.3 lakh–₹9.5 lakh per year. Toronto and Vancouver are the most expensive. Ottawa, Hamilton and Halifax offer the same university quality at lower costs.
As of late 2024, Canada returned to the 20 hrs/week off-campus work limit. Full-time work is allowed only during scheduled breaks. Confirm the current rule with your institution before your semester starts.
September (Fall) has the most programme availability. January (Winter) is a strong secondary option. May (Summer) is limited. We recommend starting your application 12–14 months before your intended intake.
