Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 3: Key Highlights

What Is Gujarat NEET UG Round 3 Choice Filling?

Round 3 choice filling is an important stage of the Gujarat NEET UG counselling process. During this stage, eligible candidates can select their preferred medical and dental colleges and arrange them according to their admission priorities.

The order of preferences matters because the counselling authority considers candidates' NEET UG merit, category, eligibility, available seats and submitted choices while processing seat allotment, in accordance with the applicable counselling rules.

Candidates should research colleges before filling out the form. Factors such as college fees, location, course availability, infrastructure and previous admission trends can help students make informed decisions.

How to Complete Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Choice Filling

Candidates should follow the steps below to complete the choice-filling process:

1. Visit the official website: Open the official ACPUGMEC Gujarat admission portal.

2. Log in to your account: Use the required registration details and credentials.

3. Check eligibility: Review the Round 3 counselling instructions and confirm that you are eligible to participate.

Important Tips Before Submitting Your Choices

Before completing Round 3 choice filling, candidates should keep the following points in mind:

• Check the official schedule for the choice-filling deadline.

• Research the colleges and their fee structures before selecting preferences.

• Prioritise colleges based on your actual preferences, eligibility and budget.

• Verify the available courses and seat information.

• Keep all required original documents ready for verification.

• Save your registration details and choice-filling confirmation.

• Regularly check the official portal for updates about seat allotment and further admission procedures.

Why Is College Selection Important in Round 3?

Choosing a medical or dental college requires more than checking the previous year's cutoff. Candidates should consider their NEET UG rank, category, applicable eligibility conditions, available seats, tuition fees and personal preferences.

Previous-year cutoffs can provide a general reference, but they do not guarantee admission in the current round. Seat allotment depends on the applicable counselling rules and the choices and seats available at the time of allotment.

Students should therefore prepare a realistic preference list rather than relying on a single college or an estimated cutoff.
