How CBSE Prepared the Date Sheet
As per the circular, the board considered these factors while preparing the schedule:
- Adequate gaps between subjects commonly offered together by students in both classes.
- Tentative dates of major entrance examinations for Class 12 students, so that board exams finish well before them.
- The number of candidates appearing on a day at each examination centre, for smooth conduct.
- A schedule that limits teachers' long absence from their schools during evaluation.
- More than 40,000 subject combinations, so that no student has two exams on the same day.
