About SAT(Scholastic Assessment Test)
The SAT is a globally recognized standardized test used for undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) admissions at colleges and universities, primarily in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia. It evaluates a high school student's readiness for college-level coursework by assessing skills in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics.
Eligibility

The SAT exam is meant for students who want to pursue undergraduate studies abroad. Therefore, there are no strict SAT exam eligibility conditions set by the College Board.
However, you need to submit a valid ID proof at the test center on the test day. As per official policy, the accepted IDs for the SAT exam in India are passport and Aadhar card.
Note: For students under 13 years of age, the parent or guardian needs to fill up and sign the Account Creation Consent FormPDF and email it to accountrequest@collegeboard.org. Processing takes up to 5 business days, after which the College Board contacts the parent to set up the account.
Are homeschooled students allowed to take the SAT?
Anyone with a valid ID (passport or an Aadhaar card) can take the test. To get admission, you need to fulfill the other requirements of your target university or program.
