The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026 is the entrance examination for selected MBA programmes offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the 2027–28 academic session. Candidates should follow the official website for announcements about registration, the revised test structure, preparation resources, admit cards and results.

This page summarises the latest important SNAP 2026 updates and their implications for MBA aspirants.

Latest SNAP 2026 News

1. SNAP 2026 Registration Remains Open

Update Date: October 9, 2026

The official SNAP website published an update confirming that registration remains open for candidates interested in the participating Symbiosis MBA programmes.

The registration and payment deadline is November 25, 2026. Candidates can select up to three SNAP tests and apply to their preferred MBA programmes through the official registration portal.

Applicants should remember that the test registration fee and programme registration fee are separate. Each selected test costs ₹2,550, and each selected MBA programme costs ₹1,000, plus applicable government taxes.

What candidates should do: Check programme eligibility, choose the preferred test dates and complete all required registrations before the applicable deadlines.

2. SNAP 2026 Introduces Ethics, Morality and Values

Update Date: September 24, 2026

The SNAP 2026 examination structure includes a dedicated section on Ethics, Morality and Values (EMV). The section carries 10 questions for 10 marks, making it an important part of the revised test pattern.

The complete examination contains 60 questions for 60 marks, with a total duration of 60 minutes.

What candidates should do: Include ethics-based scenarios, responsible decision-making and value-based questions in their preparation rather than relying entirely on older SNAP study materials.

3. Special EMV Mock Test and Sample Question Bank Announced

Announcement Date: October 1, 2026

The official SNAP website announced a special EMV preparation initiative for eligible applicants. Candidates who completed the required application steps by October 5, 2026, could become eligible for the EMV sectional mock test scheduled for October 7 and the sample question bank scheduled for October 8.

The October 5 deadline applied specifically to this preparation offer. It was not the general SNAP 2026 registration deadline.

What candidates should do: Check their official SNAP account and registered email for information about any resources for which they qualified. Candidates who missed this offer can still prepare for EMV using other study materials and practice questions.

4. SNAP 2026 Allows Up to Three Test Attempts

The official SNAP information confirms that candidates can appear for up to three tests:

Examination Date

SNAP Test 1

December 13, 2026

SNAP Test 2

December 19, 2026

SNAP Test 3

December 26, 2026

Candidates who take more than one test have their higher score considered for the final percentile calculation. According to the official rules, scores are not normalised across the test dates.

What candidates should do: Decide whether one, two or three attempts suit their preparation level, schedule and budget. Each selected test requires a separate test registration fee.

What Should SNAP 2026 Aspirants Do Now?

Candidates planning to take SNAP 2026 should complete the application process well before the registration deadline. Review the eligibility requirements of the preferred MBA programmes, select the required test attempts and keep payment confirmations safe.

Preparation should cover all four examination sections: General English; Analytical and Logical Reasoning; Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Ethics, Morality and Values.

Candidates should also monitor the official website for admit-card announcements and institute-specific admission updates. After the result, each participating institute will conduct its own selection process for the relevant programmes.

Official SNAP 2026 Websites

Candidates should use official notifications to verify deadlines, fees and admission requirements because schedules and programme-specific conditions may change.
