AP EAPCET Marks vs Rank

Your rank is not decided by AP EAPCET marks alone. See how the combined score is calculated and what ranks different marks may give.

75 : 25 Formula  •  Worked Examples  •  Indicative Bands
📢 Please note: The rank bands below are only indicative, from published analyses. They exclude Intermediate weightage and change every year with paper difficulty. Official ranks for the next cycle are To be announced.

The Combined Score Formula

APSCHE gives 75% weightage to your normalised AP EAPCET score and 25% weightage to your Intermediate marks in the relevant group subjects. A simple way to understand it:

Combined score (out of 100) ≈ 0.75 × (AP EAPCET marks ÷ 160 × 100) + 0.25 × (Intermediate group marks %)

These are simple examples. The official score uses normalised marks, so your real score can be slightly different.

Indicative Marks vs Rank (Without Intermediate Marks)

AP EAPCET MarksIndicative Rank Range
About 80 marks10,001 to 15,000
60 to 79 marks15,001 to 35,000
40 to 59 marks35,001 to 80,000
⚠️ Remember: Higher Intermediate marks can improve your rank a lot at the same AP EAPCET score. Use these bands only as a rough guide.

Why Normalisation Happens

The exam is held over several days and sessions. Some papers may be easier or harder, so APSCHE normalises scores across sessions to keep the ranking fair.
