75 : 25 Formula • Worked Examples • Indicative BandsThe Combined Score Formula
APSCHE gives 75% weightage to your normalised AP EAPCET score and 25% weightage to your Intermediate marks in the relevant group subjects. A simple way to understand it:
Worked Examples (For Understanding)
| AP EAPCET Marks (out of 160) | Intermediate % | Combined Score |
|---|---|---|
| 140 | 95% | 89.38 |
| 120 | 90% | 78.75 |
| 100 | 85% | 68.13 |
| 80 | 80% | 57.50 |
| 60 | 75% | 46.88 |
| 40 | 60% | 33.75 |
These are simple examples. The official score uses normalised marks, so your real score can be slightly different.
Indicative Marks vs Rank (Without Intermediate Marks)
| AP EAPCET Marks | Indicative Rank Range |
|---|---|
| About 80 marks | 10,001 to 15,000 |
| 60 to 79 marks | 15,001 to 35,000 |
| 40 to 59 marks | 35,001 to 80,000 |
Why Normalisation Happens
The exam is held over several days and sessions. Some papers may be easier or harder, so APSCHE normalises scores across sessions to keep the ranking fair.
