What is CMAT Application Form 2027?

The CMAT 2027 application form is the official registration document for the Common Management Admission Test, which NTA will conduct in January 2027 (expected January 24, 2027, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM). CMAT scores are accepted by over 1,000 AICTE-approved business schools across India for MBA and PGDM admissions. The form will be available at cmat.nta.nic.in  once NTA releases the official notification.

The CMAT 2027 notification and application window are expected in October 2026 — official dates have not been announced yet as of August 2026. CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) that tests you on Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Your CMAT 2027 score will be valid for the 2027–28 admissions cycle only and does not carry forward.

Note: The CMAT 2027 registration window has not opened yet. Do not apply on any third-party portal claiming to accept CMAT 2027 applications — the only official registration portal is exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT.

CMAT registrations peaked in 2024 at 76,745 students — the highest in the last five years. Attendance percentage dropped sharply in 2022 and 2023 (below 80%), likely due to post-pandemic disruptions and the exam date shift to May 2023, but has since recovered strongly, reaching 85.3% in 2025. For CMAT 2027, registrations are expected in the 72,000–78,000 range, as MBA entrance interest in AICTE-approved programmes remains steady across India.

CMAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

You must verify your eligibility before the CMAT 2027 registration window opens. Applying without meeting the eligibility criteria can lead to rejection of your application — the fee is non-refundable in such cases. The eligibility criteria below are based on NTA’s CMAT 2026 guidelines and are expected to remain unchanged for 2027.

Eligibility Criterion

Requirement for CMAT 2027

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Students in their final year of graduation may also apply, subject to completing the degree before admission.

Minimum Percentage

No minimum percentage is mandated by NTA for appearing in CMAT. However, most participating colleges require at least 50% in graduation (45% for SC/ST/PwD students).

Age Limit

No maximum age limit. You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of applying.

Nationality

Indian nationals only. NRI and foreign students are not eligible to apply for CMAT.

Number of Attempts

No restriction on the number of attempts, provided you meet the educational qualification each time you apply.

Note: Each participating college sets its own individual cutoff, GD/PI weightage, and minimum graduation percentage for admission — check your target colleges’ specific requirements before applying for CMAT 2027.

How to Fill CMAT Application Form 2027

The CMAT 2027 registration process will follow the same two-phase structure used in previous cycles: Phase 1 generates your Application Number via basic registration, and Phase 2 is where you complete all personal and academic details, upload documents, and pay the fee. The steps below are based on the CMAT 2026 process, which NTA is expected to replicate for 2027.

Phase 1: New Registration

  1. Visit the official CMAT portal atcmat.nta.nic.in and click “New Registration” once the window opens.

  2. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate or Aadhaar card — any mismatch causes issues later.

  3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS to your registered number.

  4. Create a strong password using a combination of uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  5. Note down your Application Number as soon as it is generated — you will need it for all future logins, admit card download, and counselling.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

  1. Log in atcmat.nta.nic.in  using your Application Number and Password.

  2. Fill in your personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, category (General / OBC-NCL / SC / ST / EWS / PwD), nationality, and place of birth.

  3. Fill in your academic details: Class 10 board name, year of passing, and roll number; Class 12 board name, year of passing, and marks; graduation degree, university name, year of passing (or expected passing year for final-year students).

  4. Select up to four exam city preferences in order of priority — NTA will allot a centre in one of your preferred cities based on availability.

  5. Upload your recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format within the specified size limits (photo: 10–200 KB; signature: 4–30 KB).

  6. Review every detail carefully before proceeding — particularly your name spelling, date of birth, category, and photograph. Cross-check these with your Class 10 certificate.

  7. Pay the application fee (₹2,500 for General Male; ₹1,250 for all other categories) via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

  8. After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page immediately. Keep it safe — it is needed during the form correction window, for admit card download, and during counselling.

Note: Submit only one application form. If NTA detects multiple submissions from the same student, all applications will be rejected without refund of the fee.

Note: Aadhaar e-KYC is required during CMAT registration. Ensure your name and date of birth on Aadhaar match your Class 10 certificate exactly — visit your nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre to update any discrepancy before the registration window opens.

Submit only one application form — multiple submissions from the same student will be summarily rejected.

Download and keep your confirmation page safe — it is required for admit card download, exam entry, and counselling.

Check all details before submitting — once the correction window closes, no changes are accepted under any circumstances.

NTA provides a short correction window after the CMAT registration deadline closes. Based on the CMAT 2026 cycle, the correction window was open for 3 days (November 26–28, 2025). The CMAT 2027 correction window is expected in late November 2026 for a similar duration. Use this window to fix errors in your form — no changes are accepted after it closes.

During the CMAT 2027 correction window, you will be able to edit:

  • Personal details — name spelling, parents’ names, date of birth (minor corrections only)

  • Category (e.g., from General to OBC-NCL or SC — if a change results in a higher fee, you must pay the difference)

  • PwD status

  • Preferred exam city selection (up to four cities)

  • Photograph and signature uploads

What You Cannot Change

The following fields are permanently locked and cannot be edited even during the correction window:

  • Registered mobile number

  4. If a category change results in an additional fee, pay the difference online before submitting.

  5. Download the revised confirmation page and keep it for your records — this replaces your original confirmation page.

Note: Once the CMAT 2027 correction window closes, no changes to your application form are accepted under any circumstances — verify every detail carefully before the deadline.

Therefore, candidates with a Bachelor's degree can generally apply irrespective of their graduation percentage, subject to fulfilment of all other eligibility conditions.

However, candidates should note that individual MBA/PGDM institutions may have their own admission requirements, including minimum graduation marks. NTA advises candidates to verify the admission eligibility criteria of the institutions where they intend to seek admission.

CMAT 2027 Age Limit

Candidates should ensure that they complete all degree requirements within the timeline specified by NTA and the institution to which they seek admission.

CMAT Course-Wise Eligibility

CMAT is an entrance examination, while the final eligibility for admission to MBA, PGDM and other management programmes is determined by the respective participating institutions.

Candidates should therefore check the admission requirements of individual colleges after receiving their CMAT score.

Executive PGDM

Eligibility, work experience and other requirements may vary by the respective institution.

Important: The eligibility criteria for admission may differ from the eligibility criteria for appearing in CMAT. Candidates should always check the requirements of the particular college or university before applying for admission.

CMAT 2027 Reservation Policy

Reservation in admission is not determined solely by the CMAT examination. Reservation policies may vary depending on the institution and whether it is governed by Central Government, State Government or institutional rules.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories should check the reservation policy and documentation requirements of the individual institute where they wish to seek admission.

The CMAT 2027 Information Bulletin should be referred to for any reservation-related provisions applicable to the examination.

CMAT 2027 PwD/PwBD Candidates

Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories may be eligible for applicable examination facilities as per NTA rules.

Candidates who require specific examination assistance should carefully select the applicable option while completing the CMAT application form and submit the required documents or certificates as prescribed by NTA.

The exact provisions for scribe assistance, compensatory time and other examination facilities will be governed by the official CMAT 2027 guidelines.

CMAT 2027 Scribe Facility

Eligible PwD/PwBD candidates who require a scribe may be provided with the applicable facility according to NTA's examination guidelines.

The two consecutive January exams in 2025 and 2026 — both on the 25th of January — establish a strong precedent. NTA moved CMAT to January to align results with the broader MBA admission calendar, ensuring students have their percentiles and AIR ready before the summer intake season begins at most AICTE-approved colleges. If this pattern holds, CMAT 2027 is expected on January 24, 2027 — the Sunday nearest to the January 25 anchor date. Students who begin preparation in August–September 2026 will have approximately 4–5 months before the expected exam — a comfortable preparation window by CMAT standards.

For the most current and confirmed CMAT 2027 dates, check cmat.nta.nic.in regularly. This page will be updated as NTA releases official announcements.

Ques. When is the CMAT 2027 exam?

Ans. As of August 2026, the CMAT 2027 exam date has not been officially announced by NTA. Based on CMAT 2025 (January 25, 2025) and CMAT 2026 (January 25, 2026), the CMAT 2027 exam is expected in the third or fourth week of January 2027 — likely January 24, 2027 (Sunday).

  • Official notification expected: October 2026

  • Confirmed dates will be published on exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT

  • Registration is expected to open simultaneously with the notification

What are the CMAT 2027 Exam Dates?

The CMAT 2027 exam cycle spans from notification release (expected October 2026) through individual college GD-PI rounds (expected through June 2027). Below is an event-wise breakdown of each milestone, what it means for students, and the action required at each stage.

CMAT 2027 Notification and Registration Dates: October 2026 (Expected)

NTA releases the CMAT Information Bulletin alongside the official notification, containing all rules, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and the confirmed date for every event. The registration process opens immediately after notification through NTA’s online portal. Students must complete registration — including fee payment — within the window, as late applications are not accepted under any circumstance.

  • Notification Expected: October 2026

  • Registration Start (Expected): 3rd week of October 2026

  • Registration End (Expected): 3rd week of November 2026

  • Application Fee (Based on CMAT 2026): General / EWS — ₹2,000; OBC-NCL — ₹1,000; SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender — ₹1,000

  • Action Required: Register at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT using a valid email ID and mobile number; complete fee payment before the deadline

Note: CMAT 2027 registration has not yet started as of August 2026. Do not pay application fees on any unofficial website — the NTA portal is the only authorised platform for CMAT registration.

Ques. When will CMAT 2027 registration start?

Ans. Based on CMAT 2026’s timeline (registration opened October 17, 2025), CMAT 2027 registration is expected to start in the 3rd week of October 2026. The exact start date will be confirmed in the CMAT 2027 notification on exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Students should register early in the window — NTA typically does not extend deadlines significantly.

CMAT 2027 Application Form Correction Window: December 2026 (Expected)

After the registration window closes, NTA opens a brief correction window allowing students to edit certain fields in their submitted application. This is the only opportunity to fix errors — students who miss it cannot request changes after it closes. The correction window does not allow a change of exam date or exam centre city.

  • Expected Period: December 2026 (typically 3–5 days)

  • Fields That Can Be Edited: Personal details, photograph, signature, category (where permitted by NTA)

  • Fields That Cannot Be Changed: Exam date, exam centre city

  • Action Required: Log in to the NTA portal within the correction window and verify all submitted details carefully before the window closes

CMAT 2027 City Intimation Slip: January 2027 (Expected)

The city intimation slip is an advance notice released by NTA informing students of the city in which their exam centre will be located. It is made available before the admit card and does not reveal the specific centre address or hall number. Students should use it to plan travel, accommodation, and route logistics ahead of time.

  • Expected Release: 2nd week of January 2027

  • What It Contains: Assigned exam city (not the specific centre address or hall number)

  • Exact Centre Address: Disclosed only on the admit card, released later

  • How to Download: NTA portal → Login with Application Number and Date of Birth

  • Action Required: Download and check assigned city as soon as the slip is available; book travel and accommodation early if the city is different from your hometown

CMAT 2027 Admit Card Release Date: January 2027 (Expected)

The CMAT 2027 admit card is a mandatory entry document for the examination hall — no student will be permitted inside without it. It carries the student’s name, photograph, roll number, exam centre address, shift timing, and reporting instructions. NTA does not dispatch physical admit cards; students must download and print from the portal.

  • Expected Release: 3rd week of January 2027 (approximately 4–7 days before the exam)

  • How to Download: Visit exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT → Login with Application Number and Date of Birth → Download and print in colour

  • What to Carry on Exam Day: Printed admit card + one original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence)

  • Action Required: Verify all details on the admit card immediately after download; report discrepancies to NTA helpdesk before the exam date

Note: Report to the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam. Late entry is not permitted under any circumstances — even if you hold a valid admit card. Gate closure is 30 minutes before the exam start time.

Ques. When will the CMAT 2027 admit card be released?

Ans. The CMAT 2027 admit card is expected to be released in the 3rd week of January 2027, approximately 4–7 days before the exam. For CMAT 2026, the admit card was available around January 20, 2026, for the January 25, 2026 exam. Students can download it from exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT using their application number and date of birth.

  • Expected release: 3rd week of January 2027

  • Carrying the admit card to the exam centre is mandatory — no exceptions

  • No physical copy is dispatched by NTA; students must self-print

CMAT 2027 Exam Date and Shift Schedule: January 24, 2027 (Expected)

CMAT 2027 is expected to be conducted on January 24, 2027 (Sunday) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. NTA decides the number of shifts after registration closes, based on the total number of applicants and available centre capacity across India. When two shifts are held, NTA applies its normalisation formula to make scores comparable across shifts.

  • Expected Exam Date: January 24, 2027 (Sunday)

  • Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) at designated NTA exam centres

  • Duration: 3 hours per shift

  • Shift 1 (Expected): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Reporting: 7:30 AM | Gate Closure: 8:30 AM

  • Shift 2 (if applicable, Expected): 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Reporting: 1:30 PM | Gate Closure: 2:30 PM

  • Number of Exam Cities: 100+ cities across India (based on CMAT 2026)

  • Normalisation: Applied if two shifts are conducted; no normalisation in a single-shift exam

Note: The number of shifts and specific shift timings for CMAT 2027 will be confirmed only after the registration window closes. Official shift details are disclosed on the admit card. The exam date itself is expected but not yet confirmed as of August 2026.

CMAT 2027 Exam Day Schedule

On exam day, students must follow a strict entry and reporting timeline set by NTA. The exam hall gates close 30 minutes before the exam begins, and no entry is permitted after that point — regardless of the reason or whether the student holds a valid admit card.

Ques. What time does the CMAT 2027 exam start?

Ans. Based on CMAT 2026 timings, CMAT 2027 Shift 1 is expected to start at 9:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM. If a second shift is scheduled, it is expected from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Students must report to the exam centre by 7:30 AM for Shift 1 (and 1:30 PM for Shift 2). Gate closure is 30 minutes before the exam — no entry permitted after 8:30 AM for Shift 1 or 2:30 PM for Shift 2.

CMAT 2027 Answer Key Release: January–February 2027 (Expected)

NTA releases a provisional answer key on its website within 2–3 days after the exam, for all shifts combined. Students can review each question’s correct answer and raise a formal objection if they believe any answer is incorrect. NTA reviews all valid objections and publishes a final answer key, which becomes the basis for calculating official CMAT 2027 scores.

  • Provisional Answer Key (Expected): Last week of January 2027

  • Objection Window (Expected): Last week of January 2027 (typically 2–3 days)

  • Objection Fee: ₹200 per question — refunded if the objection is accepted

  • Final Answer Key (Expected): 1st week of February 2027

  • Action Required: Review the provisional answer key carefully within the objection window; raise objections with supporting documentation for any incorrect answers

Ques. When will the CMAT 2027 answer key be released?

Ans. The CMAT 2027 provisional answer key is expected to be released in the last week of January 2027, within 2–3 days of the exam. Students can raise objections against the provisional answer key at ₹200 per question — this fee is refunded if the objection is accepted. The final answer key will be published in the first week of February 2027, after NTA reviews all objections.

CMAT 2027 Result Date: February 2027 (Expected)

The CMAT 2027 result will be declared on the NTA portal in the 2nd week of February 2027. The scorecard includes section-wise raw scores, total score (out of 400), percentile, and All India Rank. There is no NTA-level merit list or centralised rank card beyond the individual scorecard — each college independently prepares its own shortlist based on CMAT percentiles, GD performance, WAT scores, and PI outcomes.

  • Expected Result Date: 2nd week of February 2027

  • Where to Check: exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT → Login → View and Download Scorecard

  • Score Validity: One year from the date of result declaration

  • What the Scorecard Shows: Section-wise marks, Total score (out of 400), Percentile, All India Rank (AIR)

Ques. When will the CMAT 2027 result be declared?

Ans. The CMAT 2027 result is expected in the 2nd week of February 2027. NTA declared the CMAT 2026 result in February 2026, following the same post-exam pattern. The result is accessible on exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT using the application number and date of birth. The scorecard — displaying percentile and All India Rank — is valid for one academic year and cannot be used for CMAT 2028 admissions.

CMAT 2027 Admissions and GD-PI Schedule: February–June 2027 (Expected)

Unlike JEE or NEET, CMAT has no central counselling process. NTA’s role ends with result and scorecard release. Each AICTE-approved college that accepts CMAT scores independently shortlists students by CMAT percentile and then conducts Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Students must apply individually to each college — missed application deadlines at a college cannot be recovered through any NTA-level process.

  • Colleges Accepting CMAT 2027: 1,000+ AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM institutions across India

  • Top Colleges: JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE Mumbai, PUMBA Pune, K J Somaiya, Welingkar Mumbai, BIMTECH Greater Noida (each with its own cutoff and process)

  • Selection Process: CMAT Percentile shortlist → GD / WAT → Personal Interview → Final Merit List

  • College Shortlists (Expected): February–March 2027

  • GD-PI Rounds (Expected): March–April 2027

  • Final Admissions and Fee Payment (Expected): May–June 2027

  • Action Required: Track individual college deadlines; apply to multiple colleges simultaneously after the result is declared

Ques. When will CMAT 2027 counselling begin?

Ans. There is no centralised CMAT counselling — NTA does not conduct a common seat allotment process. After the CMAT 2027 result is declared (expected February 2027), students must apply independently to AICTE-approved colleges. Each college shortlists by CMAT percentile and then conducts GD, WAT, and PI rounds, typically between February and April 2027. Final admissions are generally completed by May–June 2027.

Year-wise CMAT Exam Dates and Trends

A six-year look at CMAT exam dates reveals a decisive pattern: NTA moved the exam from a March–May window (2021–2024) to a January schedule starting 2025. This structural shift was driven by the need to align CMAT results with the broader MBA admission calendar, ensuring students receive their percentiles and All India Rank before the summer intake season peaks at most AICTE-approved colleges. The January anchor also compresses the registration window — students now apply in October–November rather than February–March, meaning preparation must begin several months earlier than in the pre-2025 era.

January – February 2021

The two back-to-back January exams in 2025 and 2026 — each falling on or around the 25th — form the strongest indicator that CMAT will remain a January exam through at least 2027. Students who target CMAT 2027 should treat October 2026 (notification release) as their hard deadline for completing the syllabus, and August–September 2026 as the start of their revision sprint.

Ques. Has the CMAT exam always been held in January?

Ans. No. CMAT has been held in January only since 2025. Before that, NTA conducted CMAT between March and May each year. The shift to January reflects NTA’s strategy to align CMAT results with the MBA admission season, giving students and colleges more time before the summer intake closes.

  • 2021–2024: Exam held between March and May

  • 2025 onwards: Exam shifted to January

  • CMAT 2027 is expected to continue the January pattern based on two consecutive January cycles

Ques. Are the CMAT 2027 dates confirmed or tentative?

Ans. All CMAT 2027 dates are tentative as of August 17, 2026. NTA has not yet released the official CMAT 2027 notification. Confirmed dates will be published on exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT when the notification is released, expected in October 2026. The dates shared on this page are projections based on CMAT 2026 patterns and should not be treated as official.

Will CMAT 2027 Be Conducted in Two Shifts?

The number of shifts for CMAT 2027 will be determined by NTA after the registration window closes in November 2026, based on the total number of applications and available centre capacity across India. CMAT has alternated between single-shift and two-shift formats in recent years, depending on applicant volume.

  • Single Shift: Exam runs in a morning slot only (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM); raw scores are used directly without normalisation

  • Two Shifts: Morning shift (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM); NTA applies its percentile-based normalisation formula to make scores comparable across shifts

  • CMAT 2026: Conducted in two shifts on January 25, 2026, with separate sets of questions per shift

  • CMAT 2025: Also conducted in two shifts, continuing the dual-shift format from the previous cycle

  • Assigned Shift: Printed on the admit card — students cannot choose or change their assigned shift

  • Impact of Normalisation: When two shifts are held, final scores reflect normalised percentiles, not raw marks — a common source of confusion; the scorecard shows the normalised score

Note: The shift structure for CMAT 2027 will be confirmed only after the registration window closes. Students should check the official NTA portal once the exam schedule is finalised.

Ques. Will CMAT 2027 scores be normalised?

Ans. If CMAT 2027 is conducted in two shifts (as in 2025 and 2026), NTA will apply its normalisation formula to ensure scores across shifts are evaluated on a comparable scale. If the exam is conducted in a single shift, no normalisation is applied and raw scores are used directly. The number of shifts will be confirmed after registration closes in November 2026.

What is CMAT Admit Card 2027?

The CMAT 2027 admit card is the official entry document issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to every registered student. NTA will upload the hall ticket on the official portal at cmat.nta.nic.in in January 2027. It confirms your registration and grants you permission to sit in the exam.

You cannot appear in the exam without a valid printed admit card — no digital copy is accepted at the exam centre.

The admit card contains your name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, gate closure time, and the full address of your allotted exam centre. Invigilators at the exam hall use it alongside a valid photo ID to verify your identity before seating you. Your CMAT 2027 admit card will also carry a QR code that is scanned at the entry gate.

The admit card will not be sent by post — you must download it from the official website.

CMAT City Intimation Slip 2027

NTA will release the CMAT 2027 City Intimation Slip in the first week of January 2027, approximately two weeks before the exam. This document tells you the city and general area where your exam centre is located. It helps you plan travel and book accommodation in advance, so you are not scrambling for arrangements close to exam day.

You do not need to carry the City Intimation Slip to the exam hall. It is a planning tool only. The complete exam centre address, reporting time, gate closure time, and hall number will appear on your CMAT 2027 admit card, which NTA releases closer to the exam.

Note: The City Intimation Slip is not a substitute for the admit card. You must download and carry a printed copy of the full CMAT 2027 admit card on exam day — the City Intimation Slip alone will not get you entry into the exam hall.

CMAT Admit Card 2027: Important Instructions

NTA prints a set of important instructions on the CMAT admit card. Read them carefully before exam day. The key instructions are summarised below so you know exactly what to expect at the exam centre.

Report to the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam — late entry is not permitted after gate closure.

Guideline

Instruction

Reporting Time

Arrive at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam start time. This allows time for biometric verification, frisking, and seating.

Gate Closure

The exam centre gate closes 30 minutes before the exam begins. Students arriving after gate closure will not be allowed inside, and no exception is made.

Identity Verification

Carry your original admit card and a valid photo ID. Invigilators will check both at the entry gate and again at your seat.

Prohibited Items

Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic devices, wallets, bags, books, notes, or any stationery into the exam hall.

Rough Work

Use only the scratch pad provided at the exam centre. Rough work on any other surface is not permitted.

Photograph Verification

Invigilators will match your face with the photograph on your admit card and ID. Carry the same photograph that you uploaded during registration.

Exam Centre Allotment

You cannot change your exam centre once the admit card is issued. Requests for centre relocation will not be entertained by NTA.

Dress Code

Avoid wearing heavy jewellery, rings, bracelets, earrings, or chains. Light half-sleeve clothing is recommended. Shoes with thick soles may be inspected.

Conduct During Exam

Any malpractice, unfair means, or impersonation leads to immediate disqualification. NTA may take legal action in serious cases.

Post-Exam

You must hand over the scratch pad to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. Do not take it outside.

What to Do If There Is a Discrepancy in CMAT Admit Card 2027

Download your CMAT 2027 admit card as soon as NTA releases it and compare every detail against your application form. If you find an error — a misspelled name, wrong date of birth, incorrect category, or unclear photograph — act immediately. Do not wait until exam day to raise a concern, as corrections may not be possible at the last minute.

  1. Download the admit card and compare each field against your CMAT 2027 application confirmation email.

  2. Note the specific field with the error — name spelling, date of birth, category, photograph, or exam centre details.

  3. Contact NTA at 011-69227700 or 011-40759000 or write to cmat@nta.ac.in.

  4. Keep your application number, fee payment receipt, and a government-issued ID ready when you contact NTA.

  5. Follow NTA’s instructions for reissue or correction of the admit card.

  6. If the error is minor and NTA does not reissue the card before the exam, carry your supporting documents — original ID, application confirmation — and explain the discrepancy to the invigilator on exam day.

Note: NTA does not allow a change of exam centre after the admit card is issued. Do not request centre relocation — such requests are not entertained under any circumstances.
