NATA Qualifying Criteria
In 2026, no minimum raw score was prescribed for qualifying. A candidate qualified if the final scorecard showed a non-zero percentile.
NATA Score Validity
NATA 2026 scores were valid for the 2026–27 academic session. The 2026 brochure also set rules on earlier scores. For example, a valid NATA 2025 score remained usable in 2026–27 only if the candidate had not been admitted using it and did not take NATA 2026; taking two NATA 2026 attempts made the 2025 score invalid. The NATA 2027 validity rules will be confirmed in the new brochure.
Qualifying Score vs Admission Cutoff
Qualifying NATA only makes a candidate eligible to be considered. Each state authority or institute prepares its own merit list and closing scores, which can be much higher than the qualifying level. Eduspray publishes cutoff information only from official sources.
What Happens After the NATA Result?

Follow each authority's schedule for merit lists, choice filling and seat allotment.

Can NATA Scores Be Revalued?
The 2026 brochure does not describe a revaluation process. The Council's records were retained for only 90 days after results were declared, so any query should be raised promptly through the official helpdesk.
Pro Tip: Qualifying is only the first step. Track the merit lists of the authorities you apply to, as their closing scores can be much higher.
