The SLAT 2027 registration process is conducted online through the official SLAT website. Candidates seeking admission to eligible undergraduate law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law Schools must complete the SLAT test registration as well as programme registration for the institute and programme they wish to apply for.

SLAT 2027 Registration Last Date

The last date to complete SLAT 2027 registration and test-fee payment is 4 December 2026. Candidates should complete the application well before the deadline to avoid payment or application-related issues.

How to Register for SLAT 2027

The application process broadly involves the following steps:

1. Create Your SLAT Account

Visit the official SLAT website and register using a valid email address and WhatsApp-enabled mobile number. Candidates need to verify their account using the OTP received during registration. The same email and mobile number should be maintained throughout the admission process.

2. Enter Personal Details

Candidates need to provide their basic information, including name, date of birth, nationality, NRI status, state and admission category. The details entered should match the candidate's official academic documents. A recent passport-style photograph is also required.

3. Select Test Date and Test Cities

Candidates can choose the SLAT test date or dates they wish to appear for. For each selected test, candidates have to provide three different preferred test cities in order of preference.

SLAT 2027 is scheduled on:

SLAT Test 01: 19 December 2026
SLAT Test 02: 26 December 2026

Candidates may appear for both tests, and the higher score is considered for the final percentile calculation.

SLAT 2027 Registration Fee

Candidates need to pay the applicable SLAT test registration fee of ₹2,550 per test, plus applicable government taxes.

In addition, candidates must pay a programme registration fee of ₹1,000 for each programme they select. Both fees are stated as non-refundable and non-transferable by SIU.

Example

A candidate appearing for one SLAT test and applying for two programmes would pay:

₹2,550 test fee + ₹2,000 programme fee + applicable taxes

The exact amount payable will depend on the number of tests and programmes selected.

Important: SLAT Fee and Programme Fee Are Different

Payment of only the SLAT test fee does not complete the application for a specific law programme.

Candidates must also select their desired Symbiosis Law School programme and pay the applicable ₹1,000 programme registration fee per programme. Failure to pay the programme fee means the candidate's application will not be considered for that programme, irrespective of the SLAT score.

Payment Modes

The official registration portal provides online payment options including:

Credit/Debit Card, UPI and Net Banking.

A Demand Draft option is also available as per the instructions provided by the official SLAT registration portal.

Candidates using Demand Draft should carefully follow the official procedure and ensure that the DD reaches the Symbiosis Test Secretariat within the prescribed deadline.

Important Instructions for SLAT 2027 Registration

Before submitting the application, candidates should carefully verify their name, date of birth, category, academic information, test dates, test-city preferences and programme selections.

The official SLAT instructions state that candidates are responsible for entering correct information, and changes are not permitted after registration.

Candidates should also save their SLAT ID, transaction details and payment receipts for future reference.

Accepted photo ID documents include Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card and College ID Card. A soft copy of the ID proof will not be accepted.

Important Instructions for SLAT Admit Card

The admit card must be printed in colour, as the official instructions state that black-and-white printouts will not be accepted. Candidates also need to paste a recent passport-size colour photograph in the space provided on the admit card.

Candidates should report to the test centre two hours before the examination begins for security checks and verification. The admit card and original photo ID will be verified at the centre.

The authenticated admit card should be preserved after the examination because it may be required during the subsequent Personal Interaction (PI) and admission process.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, fitness bands and similar gadgets are not permitted inside the test hall.
