Note: The official notice states “whole syllabus of Std XII”; the Std XII chapter names above are from the current Maharashtra State Board textbooks. Avoid old study material that still lists pre-2020 chapters such as “Circular Motion” or “Communication Systems”.
Key Takeaways
Std XI contributes about 20% of questions — only the listed chapters are tested.
The entire Std XII State Board syllabus is tested (about 80% of questions).
Biology has 100 questions: 20 from Std XI and 80 from Std XII.
Use current State Board textbooks; some older guides follow an outdated syllabus.
Pro Tip: Std XI chapters like Trigonometry II, Straight Line and Circle feed directly into Std XII topics such as Pair of Straight Lines and Line and Plane. Revising them together saves time and fetches marks in both.
