Since the 2027 schedule is still awaited, the official MHT CET 2026 schedule is the most reliable reference for planning. In 2026 the CET Cell offered two optional attempts for both PCM and PCB groups, with the better total percentile counted for admission.

Lessons from the 2026 Timeline

• Results came fast. All results were out within about four weeks of the last exam.

• Gap between attempts was about three weeks. PCM candidates had roughly three weeks between the first attempt and the second — plan revision accordingly.

• CAP took about 2.5 months. From registration on 2 July to the final admission deadline on 15 September, students had to stay active on the CAP portal throughout.

Key Takeaways

• 2026 registration: 10 January – 12 February 2026.

• 2026 exams: PCM 11–20 April and 12–20 May; PCB 21–26 April and 10–11 May.

• 2026 results: 9 June (PCB 1st), 15 June (PCM 1st), 18 June (both 2nd attempts).

Pro Tip: Keep all your CAP documents — caste validity, non-creamy layer, domicile, EWS or income certificate — ready by May. Many students lose time in July chasing certificates.
